Kids say the funniest things

So Emmalee and Bradley both say the funniest things sometimes. To day they both said soothing funny.

Emmalee: At dinner we had tostatas and Emmalee was telling Brian how he should make his. This is how the conversation went.

Emmalee- "Dad where is your sour cream?"

Brian- " You put it on last"

Emmalee" No you don't you put it on first. Where are you from China?"

I our house sometimes if my kids are being strange I will ask "Where are you from China"

Bradley: So recently Bradley has been doing some rather notty things like peeing in the bathtub, taking food in his room and getting it on his carpet. You know stuff like that. So when I go into his room to see what he is up to and I see that something is wrong I will ask him what happened and he will say i don't know or I didn't do it. Then I will say well who did it then the boogy man. So tonight he asked if he can open the Netflix movie and I told him no and to wait for dad to get home. 1o min latter he comes in to the room and the envelope is open in his hand and he says " Mom look what the boogy man did."

I guess it is true what they say about how we as parents need to watch what we say because our children will copy us. In our house that statement was proven true. I guess I am going to have to watch what I say.

Backstreet Boys

When I was in high school I was obsessed with Backstreet Boys. I am not exaggerating i was obsessed. I have all their videos all the cds and I even have a t shirt and i went to a concert. I slept on the ground down town Phoenix for tickets to that concert. I just found out today that they are back, I'm not sure how long they have been putting out new music but i just learned today that they have new music. So I put a playlist together to share with my blogger friends. I know u are all thinking what a dork but guess what I don't care because BSB rocks.

For the kids valentines this year we went home made. We made cute cards with their pictures. I cut 2 holes one above the hand and one below and stuck a sucker threw it. I didn't take a picture of the end result i totally forgot.

Bradley's first day of Preschool

On the 18th Bradley went to his first day of preschool. He calls it primary I don't know why and I correct him every time but he still says it. He had a wonderful time and loves going.

On Monday the 17th we had Emmalee's Birthday celebration. We took her and 4 of her friends horse back riding. They had a great time. Then we came home for pizza, cake and ice cream, and presents. It was a fun filled day. Here are the pictures of her special day.

So my mom baught me these two chrismas plaque things at the doller store and I had no idea what to do with them. And I was also getting all of our friends christmas cards and had no idea where to put them, so i said to my self what can i do. It just clicked I will add some robbon I already have and just hang the pictures on there. I love it. It's so cute and cost me nothing.

Ginger Bread

We hand our annual Boulter Family ginger bread house decorating last week. The kids made their own. Emmalee is getting pretty good. She is getting the concept that it is a house so make it look like a house. Bradley just wants to get as much candy and frostin on as posable. And my is beautiful I love it. My mom found the little trains at CVS. They are not eatable but are so cute. Here they are.

Emmalee has chipped fractured her right ankle. She was jumping on the trampoline with all of her cousins and got double bounced went flying in the air and came down wrong on her ankle. Luckily she landed on the trampoline and not on the ground. She is going to be in a cast for 3 weeks. We are hoping to get it off before her birthday.

For Brian's birthday this year I figured I have put so much work into my kids cakes that I needed to do the same or my wonderful husband. So I made him these lovely cup cakes. I just made the guitars out of melting chocolate and black frosting from a tube i bought at walmart. It was easy and fun and they looked awesome.

My Nana came from Canada to visit for a week so we took the opportunity to take some pictures with her.

I had the wonderful opportunity to do the Barton Family thanksgiving this year. I was so wonderful having all the family over not only to help in the yard but to just spend time with them. Here are some photos of the table. Thanks to my hubby for letting me buy all of it, it made everything so much better.

Here is the kids table. I went to the dollar store and bought some crayons and stickers for them to color with. I put butcher paper on the table and let them go at it. They did so well and we got to eat a nice meal without any winey kids

My Birthday

So for my birthday this year I wanted to go camping so that is what we did. WE had a lot of fun and it was so nice and relaxing. No messes to clean up and no nagging mom(me) yelling at the kids to not get dirty. I let them have at it and they did pretty much anything they wanted. There was a park to camp spot away from ours so we let the kids play and have fun most of the weekend. On my birthday Saturday Brian and his family came up to celebrate the fun day. Thanks to everyone who came it was a blast. Here are some photos of the fun.

My niece Hannah had her first birthday party last saturday and I wanted to make her something cute. Then I remembered at one of my friends baby showers my sister saw a pair of baby bloomers she wanted and asked if I could make her some. So I decided I would make them for her birthday. I also made matching hair bows a leggings. Here they are.

Here are the bloomers by them selfs. So cute. Makes me want to have another child just so I can have a girl for these cute things. But I guess Hannah will just have to be good enough for now.

Fall Crafts

I put some pictures up of the calendars I made for my kids to count down the days till halloween and i thought something was missing so I saw the word "BOO" on my friends piano and decided I had to make them(thanks Jen). They cost me $5 to make. I also needed stands to put the calendars on so I bought some that were silver at wal-mart for $1 each. I then spray painted them black and this is the display on my piano I love it.

I wanted to put out these autumn blocks I made a few years ago but wanted to spice it up a bit, so my mom bought me this fall garland and I went to Hobby Lobby and got some christmas lights for $2. I am so happy with the way it all turned out.

Here is my big girl Emmalee's first grade picture. She is growing up so fast. Yesterday Emmalee was in out room getting ready for church and Brian said to Emmalee, "When did you get to be so big? Stop growing up". I can't believe she is going to be 7 in 3 months and be baptized in a year. Time has gone by so fast. Some times I miss my baby girl. But I love how grownup and responsible she is becoming.

On Saturday my nephew Caleb had his 3rd birthday, and my sister asked me if I could make him a life size Wall E cake. So I tried my best and this is how it turned out. I had so much fun making it. Putting all the pieces together was tricky. I made 2 sets of fingers and all of them fell apart so he has hand with no fingers. I am so excited to make kids birthday cakes this year. On Saturday Brian's parents took him and the kids on their boat. They had a lot of fun. Here are some photos of their trip.

The bracelet he is wearing is from the hospital. We were there from about 1am till 6am. He had some x-rays and a cat scan and we found out all he had was sever constipation. Oh well better safe then sorry right. That is why I didn't go on the boat I staid home and slept. Apparently I need my sleep more then Bradley does.

Emmalee is officially a first grader. I forgot to take a picture on the first day but I got one a week latter. I am so proud of her and all the things she does at school. I am glad she loves to do her homework and for the most part never complains. I also love that she can read she is getting so good at it. I sure do love my BIG GIRL.

Bradley on the I Pad, he does everything from watch movies to coloring and tries to play solitaire but cant figure out quite how to do it.

Iron Man

Last week was my brother in-law's birthday and I had been really wanting to make a cake with fondant so I volunteered to make him a cake. I decided to make an Iron Man cake for him. It is not as good as I had hoped. I am working on my skills. I need to get down the skill of having a perfect cake to ice and how to make my icing smooth so you cant see the bumps under the fondant. I guess it is all going to be trial and error. I love to do it so I don't mind trying it over and over. If anyone has any tips that can improve my skills I would be very grateful.(Gina hint hint)

I also made my own fondant. That was fun. I loved it.I wanted to find a method that I could use my kitchen aid with, so I went on utube and found one. Not as messy as doing it by hand. And a lot faster I'm guessing. The only sucky part is you have to hold up the dough hook at the beginning so the marshmallows don't get on the top flat part of the hook.

We celebrated fathers day with my did this weekend. I am so grateful for my dad. He is the best father I could have asked for. I love him so much. He is an awesome Papa to my kids. They absolutely adore him.

I made these hamburger cupcakes and sugar cookie French fries. I loved making them. They were so much fun.

A while back my sister in-law's boyfriend Tyler called and asked me if it was ok to give Brian a drum set. So me trying to be a great wife said yes. I knew it would make him happy, and the kids would love it too. I don't regret it at all. I am learning how to play them, slowly that is. Brian's brother in-law John was over when Tyler brought them over, so he had a go at them as well. Here are the guys playing.

Canada

We just got back from a great trip to Canada. My pap wasn't doing very well so we decided that we better go see him. He had 4 types of cancer so we knew he wouldn't have much longer to see him. So we hopped in my dad's truck and had a 2 day journey with 3 kids. The only stops we made were for gas, potty and food. The kids did really well. Here is the set up we had in the truck.

I am so glad my mom came with us in the truck I could not have kept my cool for 2 whole days in the ruck with 3 kids without her. Love you mom.

Because I was spending a lot of time with my papa Brian tried to keep himself and the kids occupied. One of Brian favorite things to do in Canada besides golf is going to all the beaches or any kind of body of water. So he and my brother in law Mark took the kids to a river (i think). He took some really cute pictures of the kids. I am so glad Brian came with me to Canada he did so much with the kids that I had a lot of time alone to spend with my papa and nana. Brian you are awesome, I love you so much.

On one of our days in Canada Brian wasn't feeling well and I didn't want to stay cooped up in the house, so my mom and I took the kids to the dollar store and to the park. Here at the park we discovered that Aiden loves the swing. He had a smile on his face the entire time. We all had fun even me, I had a turn at the swing too. And I had a pusher so I didn't have to pump. When we got back home to AZ we bought a swing and brian hung it from the back patio.

My papa passed away on Sunday April 25. We had a funeral service for him on the 28th. I didn't get any pictures of that but I will get some from my mom. I am going to miss my papa so much. HE was a funny witty guy.On the day we were leaving we went to my pap's favorite lake and spread his ashes I know its not legal but it was what he wanted. The last picture is all my family on my dads side, except for my sister, her family, my dad and my uncle Kevin who had to work.

I am going to miss all of my family and friends in Canada. We had a great trip. Thanks to all my cousins who entertained my kids, they love you guys and talk about you all day every day.

Sorry It has taken so long. I have been super busy these past couple months. I will catch you all up on what is going on in our lives. Starting with Easter. Easter weekend the kids and I went camping with my family. We just went up the road to the white tank mountains. We had so much fun camping and hiking. We were so luck to have a park right next to our camp ground it kept the kids occupied so the adults could chat. We also had a great hike. I loved this camping trip, close to home and just one night.

Snow Fun!

We made a trip up to flagstaff this year to play in the snow. Brian parents were nice enough to come with us. The kids had tons of fun. Here are the pictures of all their fun.

They built a snowman with grandpa.

Emmalee wore a hate that wouldn't stay on so her hair got all wet. And Emmalee being her stubborn self didn't want to put on a different one.

This piture is of Bradley. He found a hole in the snow and decided so stuff his head in it. Funny guy!

Every time the kids went down the hill grandpa was kind enough to go down and pick them up and brought them back up to the top. Thanks grandpa.

Valentines Day Cookies

We went over to my parents for the opening ceremonies of the olympics. My mom set up a table with all different things for the kids to decorate cookies with. They had fun. Caleb and Emmalee decorated for a while and Bradley decorated one cook, then decided he would rather eat the cookies without the frosting and candy then to waste his time decorating them first. Crazy kid. We also decorated our own cookies on valentines day at our house but I forgot to take pictures.

Catching up and Aidens Blessing

I am so backed up on pictures and events. We will start at the beginning of February.

Aiden was blessed on February 7th. He look so handsome. He surprised us all by not crying while being blessed. Here he is look handsome in his blessing outfit. FYI Bradley and my nephew Caleb wore the same outfit on their blessing day also.

Here is his blessing cake. So may things went wrong with that cake. First I went to go frost it and the frosting was to thin and i ran out of powered sugar. The icing was running, so the layers of cake started to shift. Then, it was my first time using fondant and my bow didn't dry long enough so it started to collapse. I was so disappointed and almost threw it away, but I still had to serve cake and so I put it out and served it. I will attempt to use fondant again, and I will always have more then enough powered sugar in the pantry.

While all the family was over for the blessing the kids were jumping on the trampoline. Two little heads smashed and one little boy got a black eye.

On January 27th Bradley turned 3. We celebrated by having a party at our house. I made him a dinosaur cake. He loved it. He had to sit next to it for about an hour before I told him that it wasn't going to go anywhere, that it would stay on the table and not move. I love my Bradley so much. He is getting so big. I can't believe he is 3 already. He loved all of his gifts. Thanks to all the family who didn't give him more Dinosaurs for his birthday, he has enough to last him a life time. Dinosaur Cereal

Last week I went grocery shopping at fry's and they had their oatmeal on sale for $1.88 so i decided to get some, as i was picking up the kind Brian likes right next to it I saw the word Dinosaur I picked it up, as i do any food product that says dinosaur, or has a dinosaur on it and put it in the cart. When i got home i looked at it more carefully and the box said that the eggs tune into dinosaurs when you poured the hot water on them. The next morning Brian tried it out with Bradley and it worked. Here are the pictures of the before and after.

I love this cereal, Bradley loves it as well he asks for it every meal. If your kids love fun food try this out. I could only find them at fry's hopefully you will have luck finding them close to you.

Aiden

So I haven't posted much about Aiden so here are some facts about our little guy.

Aidens loves to stand and watch everyone around him so I thought I would get out the exersaucer because my arms were hurting from holding him for so long. I know he looks a little happy but trust me he hates it. I hope it is because he is to young and doesn't quite get "why mom isn't holding me and why this stupid chair thing keeps spinning when ever i move".

He also loves to sit in the swing and watch the ducks spin around, and also to look at him self in the little mirror.

Aiden is getting so big. I love having him in our family he brings such joy. I am so blessed to have healthy wonderful children and a husband that is so loving to me and our kids. I love to watch the smile on his face when he plays with them and their smiles when they are having fun with him too.

Sunday January 10th was Emmalee's 6th birthday. She had fun playing with her friends on her new tramp she got for Christmas. She wanted a Tinker Bell cake. So I made this one for her. Also here is a picture of her and the cake.

She got lots of gifts from family and friends.

And last here she is blowing out her candles. Bradley blew them out before she had a chance, so we relit them so she could do it. It took her good 5 tried to blow them out. It was hilarious.

Here is Aiden's first picture with Santa. This is the first picture we have of any of our kids with Santa. Our first two kids were both 1 at their first christmas picture, and at that age they were too scared of him. Emmalee is now 6 and is still tariffed, and Bradley this year we thought would be fine but once he saw Emmalee's reaction decided to freak out too. Hopefully next year we can get one with all the kids and Santa. I guess this will have to do for now.

Gingerbread Houses

On Sunday we went to my parents home for turkey stew(yum), and made our gingerbread houses. We do this every year, and always have so much fun doing it. This year my mom made small ones or the kids, they had a blast making them. I love the holidays and all the traditions our family has. I look forward to them every year. I love Spending time with my family.

On Saturday November 28th our sweet baby boy cam into the world. He weighed 8 lbs 9 oz, 21 1/2 in long. He is so cute and is a great addition to our family. Bradley loves to shower him with kisses and even baught a dinosaur for him and actually lets Aiden "play with it" he is such a good brother. Emmalee is such a big help and loves to hold Aiden, she is and has always been an awesome big sister. I am so grateful for all of my children, even on the bad days. This year we did our pumpkin carving at our house. My family came over and we had tons of fun together.

In this picture Brian is telling Bradley to put his hand in and pull out all the seeds. As you can tell he wasn't to thrilled. But after a while he did it and had fun doing it.

Brian and Emmalee went to our stake's Princess Ball on Saturday. Emmalee was so excited. My mom bought the dress and added the selves and the beads around the waist. She also made a matching bow and little tassels for Emmalee's shoes. Brian and Emmalee danced, made crafts and ate yummy treats. I am so glad they had the chance to spend time together. This past week I have been thinking about ways I can be a better mom. I decided that this week I am going to work on my relationship with Emmalee. Sometimes I feel like I am to hard on her, so this week I decided am going to try to ease up and try to relax. So everything was going good this morning until we get to the bus stop. We were not even there for 2 minutes and Emmalee is running around with her friends and playing, when she falls into a pile of mud. And the bus is at the end of our street about to stop to pick up the kids. So i start to walk Emmalee home and start reaming on her for the poor choice she made by falling in the mud and how i was so mad because now she couldn't go to school because I didn't have a car to take her in. So we get home and right as we are walking in the door her bus stops in front of our house and waits for Emmalee to get changed. I was so grateful for the wonderful bus driver at that moment. So Emmalee got changed and got on the bus. I didn't give her her usual kiss and I love you because I was in a hurry to get her on the bus. So when i was watching the bus leave I felt so bad for what I had said to her. I don't know if I am the only mom who feels bad sometimes but today I felt really bad. I also can't stop thinking about if something bad happens to her or I her last memory of me she will have is of me yelling at her for falling in the mud which may I point out wasn't her fault its not like the mud was like"hey let me trip this little girl so her mom can yell at her". I feel so guilty, and like a horrible mom. I only had one goal set out this morning and it is only 9am and i have already failed. I just hope that she will forgive me when she gets home. I am going to be thinking about this all day. Sorry for my rambles, and for no pictures. Just had to get it off my chest. Thanks for listening.

Potty Training

On Sunday we officially started potty training. I watch a little girl who is the same age as Bradley. She is potty trained, so when she came over last Friday Bradley said he didn't want to wear a diaper and wanted to wear under wear like Ainsley. But that afternoon we were leaving to go camping so we decided to wait till we got back on Sunday. Bradley was ok with that. We went to wal- mart and let him pick out underwear. He liked the cars ones the best. So as of today no accidents. I hope it sticks. Here is a picture of what he does all day. Plays with is monster trucks and has candy in his mouth for going potty on the toilet. I am sure is going to be more then ready to see a dentist after he is done potty training.

Emmalee's First Day of School

Today was Emmalee's First day of school. We went out to the bus stop at 8:30 and waited for the bus. Emmmalee's uncle Mark and cousin Caleb came with us to say good bye. When the bus came the number on the bus wasn't the number that the school gave me. So I went up to the bus driver and made sure it was the right bus. Emmalee got on the bus and just stood there and was staring at me. At first I thought she was going to freak out but then I realized I was holding her back pack.Once I gave her her bag she went and sat down next to a little girl and they were off. She is getting so big. So the the first 15 min. I was nervous that she was going to get lost once she got off the bus, so I text Brian at work and he assured me that I didn't need to call the school to make sure she got to her class with out getting lost. I hope she has a good day and has tons of fun. I am excited to see how her day went and what she did. She was most excited to go because her class has a pet genie pig , and if you know Emmalee, you know she loves all animals. So now Bradley and I are going to try to keep busy entertaining each other. We had a pretty relaxing day on Saturday. We spent the night at my parent's Friday night and woke up and spent most of the day in their pool. At around 6 pm we went out to dinner and then right after we watched the fireworks in Surprise. Then we decided to get some ice cream at Cold Stone. When we got there the parking lot was packed and the fireworks at Peoria Sports Complex was starting so we pulled over to let the kids watch. After we still had time to get ice cream. The kids had so much fun. Here are a few pictures I took of the kids with my phone so they area little dark and blurry. Sorry.

Sleepy Heads

Emmalee is starting Kindergarten this year and so I decided that it was time to get her on a good schedule so she can be ready for when the day comes. Brian put the kids to bead at 8:30 and when I came home from mutual I went in and they were asleep on the floor. They were so exhausted but still wanted to play. For Fathers Day this year i was gone at YW Camp. So before I left, I helped the kids make Brian a gift he could put on his desk at work. We are happy to announce that baby #3 is on the way. I am so excited to have a new little one in our home. Emmalee is so excited. She wants a baby sister. Bradley doesn't quite get it yet maybe once I get a huge tummy he'll get it. The baby is estimated to arrive around November 29th one day before Brian's Birthday. We are so excited and can't wait to see the new addition to our family.

Brian's Surgery

Last Thursday Brian went in for his surgery. I can remember what it was called exactly but they put a battery in his back ran wires up his back to his neck and when he turns it on all the pain he feels will now turn into a nice massaging feeling. That is the best way to describe it in human language. He is doing great. he gets it turned on tomorrow so we are very excited to be pain free. him more then me. We are headed on our Boulter Family vacation on Sunday to go on a 7 day 6 night cruise to Victoria B.C. I am so excited to go to Canada so i can stock up on all the Canadian food they don't have here in AZ. Hope u all have a great summer as well. Here are some lovely pictures of his scars. As some of you might know Brian is a Sublime fan. One of those fans who has all of their Cd's and keeps them in a box labeled DON'T TOUCH. They have never have been listened to. He burns them and then listens to them. Anyways his boss at work has a brother who was the opening band for s band called Bad Fish a Tribute to Sublime. So he scored us some tickets. It was fun. The bast part was to see how happy Brian was just standing there listening, his smile was so big. That made it all worth the blisters on the feet, and the ringing in the ears.

So a couple of weeks ago i went in to check on the kids before i went to bed and this is what I found. They are so cute. Bradley loves his big sister so much. He is always wanting to sleep with her. In the pictures it looks like Emmalee got into bed with Bradley but no her got into her bed. He loves to find the most awkward places to sleep.

Emmalee's 5th Birthday

On the 10th Emmalee had her 5th birthday. She had a party at her grandparents house and invited 8 friends. Here are some pictures of her party. She had such a great day.

Emmalee's Trip To The Hospital

I officially get the worst mom award. Last night we had to take Emmalee to the ER. Bradley and Emmalee were running towards the back door to get Brian and Emmalee tripped and smacked her head on the corner of on of her little chairs. I sliced a cut about 1/4 in by 1/2 big. It was so deep when she moved her eye brows you could she the skin moving on her bone. Gross huh. So we took her straight to the Hospital. She needed 4 stitches. She did so well she didn't cry or move at all during the stitching. She was so brave. We are so proud of her. We thought she would have totally freaked. We were wrong. Here are some pictures. Veterans Day Parade

On Tuesday the city of Phoenix had a Veterans Day Parade. Brian had the day off and so we decided to go. It was really long i think it was like 2 hours. They had over 90 floats and cars. Emmalee really enjoyed it her favorite part were the horses. And the also had a group of bikers for Brian to enjoy. Here are some of the pictures i took.

Halloween 2008

We had an awesome Halloween this year. We carved pumpkins at my parents house. Emmalee had a lot of fun helping take out the seeds. After we finished carving we had fun talking to each other around a campfire and drank hot apple cider. Here are some of the pictures my mom took.

On Friday we took the kids Trick or Treating. Emmalee was Sleeping Beauty and Bradley was Batman. They had a blast. Here are pictures of them in their costumes. And like the last blog i also took these pictures with my cell phone so sorry if they are blurry.

Bradleys First Trip To The Hospital

On Wednesday Bradley had his first trip to the hospital. Here's how it happened. Emmalee and Bradley were playing on my moms jogging stroller, they were standing up and leaning over the handle bar and the stroller fell backwards and Bradley got flung off the back of the stroller and smacked his cheek on the tile floor in our hall way. I called my mom (because she is a nurse) and asked her what i should do. His face was already swollen and his mouth and nose were both bleeding. She told me to take him to the hospital because he may have broken a bone in his cheek. When we got to the hospital they took a catscan of his hole head. The results came back and he had a minor concussion and lots of bruising. We are so blessed and lucky that he wasn't more seriously hurt. Fire Station

On Wednesday I took the kids to the Fire Sation with some friends. At first Emmalee was scared to go in the truck but after a while she go more comfterable. Bradley wasnt so sure either. He liked sitting in the drivers seat and playing with the stering wheel. So all together it was a good trip. I enjoyed it too. Here are some pictures.

My New Hobby

My newest hobby is making hair bows for littile girls and babies. I am working on infant head bands right now. I am having so much fun doing them. But i think they are driving Brian crazy because of all the money i have been spending. On Tuesday I went to Wal-mart and spent $30 on ribbon.
I also have been making flower bows for Emmalee and some of my friends little girls. I will post pictures if those latter i haven taken pictures of those yet.I hope you like them as much as I do.

Labor Day Weekend

Over Labor Day weekend Brian and the kids went with my family camping. I was lucky and got to stay home and help out some friends and have a nice relaxing weekend to myself. They had a lot of fun even though it rained on them %80 of the time. They also went to a lake and went canoeing. I am so blessed to have Brian as my husband he puts up with so much and works hard. I am so thankful that he would take the kids camping by him self( with some help from you parents) so that i could stay home and help out some friends and have a weekend to my self. Last Sunday i was called to be the 2nd Counselor in the Young Womens. I am so excited to work with the youth in our ward. I loved Young Womens when i was in it and i love it even more now that i am a leader. The Best Vacation Ever

Last Week Brian and I went to Salt Lake Utah. It was the most fun I have had in a long time. We went through 8 Temples in 5 Days. At first I thought we would be to rushed to enjoy all of the temples but it was actually really nice. One Day we did 3 temples we were so busy we didn't get to eat lunch, and we didn't eat dinner till 9pm, but I still really enjoyed it. We also went and did everything on Temple Square. The spirit there is so strong. I wish i could live on temple square and never loose the spirit. I try so hard to keep the spirit in our home but sometimes it just isn't there. We also went to the Woman of Utah museum that was pretty cool we saw some cloths Brigham Young wore to the dedication of the St. George Temple. We also saw the gun Joseph Smith had when he was killed. We also saw one of Emma Smith's walking canes. We saw a lot more but those are the ones I remember the most. Fishtastrophy

So some of you might know that over the Memorial day weekend our family took a trip to New Mexico to visit Brians sister Tanna. Because this was a spur of the moment decision, we were unable to get someone to feed our fish. And Because the fish was not an expensive fish, we decided to let it go and hope for the best. Four days later we came home and to our suprise the fish had survived. Emmalee was exstatic. The next day while I was watching the little girl I babysit, she stood up in the high chair, turned around and pulled the fish off the counter. The fish suffered a cut from the broken glass fish bowl and died. We thought this was ironic, but the story keeps going. Brian decided to replace the fish because Emmalee enjoys feeding it. He took Emmalee to a walmart and bought a little fishtank with a filter in it and then got the fish from the pet store because the fish from walmart have a disease called IC or ICK or something. He bought 2 fish, and set up the tank, then set the fish, still in the bag, in the tank so they could get used to the water. The tank started leaking, and Brian got mad saying "who makes a fishtank with a freakin' hole in it?" He took the fish out, still in the bag, but then got worried because he knew one of them breathed air, so he emptied them into a bowl and set them on the counter. We then left and went to the mall to walk around and take the tank back. When we got home, the kids and I went straight up to get dressed for bed and Brian came in to set up the new tank. He looked in the bowl and neither fish was in there, so he looked around and found that he was stepping on one and the other was almost all the way to the family room. They were both dead and dried up already. Suffice to say we took this as a sign we shouldn't get a new fish and it was a curse that our first fish put on our house. We said who cares and now have 4 fish in a tank with NO holes in it.

Mothers Day

Last week for Mothers Day, My sister and I took my mother on a road trip to San Diego. We wanted to take her to "Time Out for Women" here in Arizona but they are not haveing one.

So we decited to take a road trip to San Diego. We had so much fun.

After Time Out we went out to dinner at a restaurent that looked over the water it was so beautiful.

I am so glad us girls had a chance to get away. Thankyou to my wonderful husband for deeling with our 2 children for a hole weeked so i could get away. Thanks you rock babe. I hope my mom and sister has as much fun as i did. I am so lucky too have a mom and sister I can truly call my Best Friends. I hope all you moms had a Mothers Day as great as mine.

Bradleys first attempt at eating yogurt

For the past few Weeks I have been trying to get Bradley to eat food with utensils, and so I tried giving him a spoon to use with his yogurt and this is what happened.

And then latter that night Brian came home from work and started to play the piano and Bradley wanted to join in . Bradley likes to play his dad's piano and the guitar .

And then while Bradley was playing Brian would put his hand on Bradley's side and Bradley would push it away. Here is a video of it, it is so funny.

OK so tonight we went to one of Brian's co-worker's wedding reception and Emmalee did the cutest thing. We were going to the food table and there was a bowl of peanuts. So Emmalee went to go reach in to the bowl and we told her to stop and use the serving spoon that was in the bowl. So she scooped up some nuts and tried to put the serving spoon in her mouth but we stopped her. What we meant was put some on a plate with the serving spoon. It was so cute. Any ways just had to tell that funny story.

Spring Brake

Sorry this is coming late but our computer is being retarded. Any way over spring brake we went to the zoo. The kids absolutely loved it. We went on a train ride that took us around part of the zoo, Bradley loved it. It took us a long time to convince Emmalee to go an the sky ride but after a while she gave in.
